As in majority of Slovakia beer is the most favorite drink in Poprad Pubs. Anyhow the tradition of hard liquoers is strong in the region of Poprad and in local pubs you can be welcomed by shot of slivovica (plumb brandy) or borovicka (similar to gin but more aromatic). The opening hours are from 10 AM until 12 PM (or later if the waiter previews a good tip).
